How to cancel a booking is explained in this article. Bookings made through VanSite can be cancelled by both travelers and hosts.

Guests may be charged for cancelling a booking according to the cancellation policy. You can find the cancellation conditions of your booking in the respective advertisement.

Requirements for a cancellation

In order to carry out a cancellation, simple prerequisites apply for guests and hosts, which ensure the effort and planning security.

For hosts, a booking can be cancelled up to 2 calendar days before the start of the stay.

For guests applies that bookings on request can be canceled only with acceptance of the booking by the host.

If a cancellation is not possible due to these conditions, but desired, you can contact our support by mail or chat.

Cancel a booking

To cancel a booking, open your inbox, select the booking. Then you can cancel the booking after confirming the cancellation conditions.
